The Concept

In 2025, De Novo Gallery expanded its mission with “The Window Project,” an innovative venture that brings art and the opportunity to collect it beyond traditional gallery walls.  Through this initiative, the gallery transforms underutilized retail windows and storefronts throughout Washington, D.C. into vibrant, curated art spaces.  All available artworks are displayed directly in the window. We invite the community - artists, property owners, and local businesses - to collaborate with us in bringing this vision to life.
